Throughout the year, the Chamber will recognize its Centennial through a series of integrated initiatives woven into existing programming, communications and events. The Centennial will be acknowledged all year long, reflecting a century of advocacy, connection and leadership in support of local business.
A Centennial companion mark has been introduced alongside the Chamber’s logo for 2026, signalling this milestone year across Chamber communications. Everyone is encouraged to watch for and participate in monthly features and stories highlighting Barrie’s business community, its history and its continued impact.

Founded on June 10, 1926, the Barrie Chamber of Commerce has served as the voice of business in Barrie for a century, representing businesses across sectors and advocating for a strong, sustainable local economy. Our Centennial year will reflect that legacy.
