Government Funding For Canadian Manufacturers; up to $8000
We’ve heard from manufacturers across the country and with the new Future Ready program, training is now simpler and more flexible for your team. The program equips Canadian manufacturers with the tools and funding to maximize automation, train existing workers, and bring new workers into Canada’s manufacturing workforce.
After completing the first one-hour online training module and a skills-assessment, manufacturers can qualify to receive government funding, covering up to 80% of the cost for specialized employee training programs of their choice, up to a maximum of $8,000 per company.

Changes Coming to Curbside Collection
Barrie businesses need to register to continue receiving municipal curbside collection with the introduction of the new waste contract starting May 1. The application is available at www.barrie.ca/
Deadline to register is April 15
to receive/continue receiving collection May 1.
