Nomination, Acceptance and Judging Review Process

Our awards management platform, Awardify, is a user-friendly, secure, and Canadian-made solution specifically designed to streamline and enhance the nominations, acceptances, and judging processes. Its capabilities underscore the platform's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency and fairness.

For all of the awards, nominees must be:

• Barrie resident or business located in Barrie
• Business Owner or employee
• Business outside of Barrie must be a Barrie Chamber Member to qualify

Additionally,

• Young Entrepreneur, must be under the age of 30 as of March 1st, 2026.
• Community Impact: Charities or Not for Profit Organizations volunteered with are located in (or have an office in) Barrie
• The Visionary Award may only be won once.

Our esteemed panel of judges is carefully selected from across the Ontario Chamber network. This strategic selection of judges ensures an impartial evaluation of nominees, focusing solely on the merits of their applications and their business acumen. The Barrie Chamber is dedicated to a fair and unbiased review process.
